Managed Backup Solutions

Deleting a file or a file becoming corrupted happens to everyone.

That's what this service is for!

What do I do?

Contact us as soon as you can, either open a ticket or email us on [email protected]

Our engineering team will contact you and restore the requested files from a previous backup.

We will need access to your system during this time, restoration time will heavily depend on your internet speed.

Please note

We can only restore from successful backups, due to this, it is imperative that our engineers are able to access your system when contacting you or your business to fix any issues with failing backups.

Non-disaster backup restores abide by your monthly traffic plan of 1TB (unless upgraded). If extra traffic is used, it will be billed at £4/TB as a one-time fee.

Why don't we provide unlimited traffic? Simple answer, cost. If we did this, the price you pay every month would be higher.

Read below why we do not want to do that.

  • Fun fact! 82% of businesses will download more than 1TB from their backups in non-disaster scenarios only ONCE within a 5 year time period!

We would rather save you money every month for 5 years and only charge you a small amount once when you need to download more.

This saves our average customers roughly £60/year! (£300 over 5 years), depending on your plan.

Need more traffic regularly? You can always upgrade it in your service settings.

How do I know a file can be recovered from backups?

You can always contact us for help.

Like to figure things out yourself? Here is a quick run down:

We can recover any file exactly to how that file was, at the time of a successful backup on your system.

The file would had to have been present on your system during a successful backup.

Example 1 -

  1. File / Folder created at 2pm on Monday.

  2. Backup successful at 3pm on Monday.

  3. File / Folder corrupts at 4pm on Monday.

We can recover this file / folder to how it was at 3pm Monday.

Example 2 -

  1. Backup successful at 3pm on Monday.

  2. File / Folder created at 4pm on Monday.

  3. File / Folder corrupts at 4:30pm on Monday.

We cannot recover this file.

How long are my backups kept for?

This mainly depends on how much data you are backing up and how much storage is in your plan.

On average it is 3 weeks to 2 months.

If you have more storage in your plan compared to how much data you are backing up, this may be several months!

On the other hand, if a full backup takes up 95%+ of storage in your plan, this may only be a few weeks.
