Your internet speed
We require to know this to best plan for deployment of your package. You can run a free speed test here - https://speedtest.net
This is usually the primary factor which determines the length of the primary backup. If your speed is below 20mbps upload, we may choose to perform the first backup over a weekend to minimise disruption.
Please note - If your internet speed is below 2mbps this package may not be for you as the main backup may take multiple days to complete. Please consult with our engineering team prior to purchase.
Your data size
We need to know exactly what we are backing up. For example - On your server we will be backing up the (C: or D:), we will be backing up the whole machine. We require to know how much data you hold on that machine. Please send up this information in an email or ticket after purchase of your package or when replying to our engineering team.
To get the data sizes (Windows), please open your file explorer on your machine. Navigate to "This PC" and send us a screenshot of all the devices listed.
For specific folders that you require to have backed up. Please right-click the folder, Click properties and send us a screenshot of the folders properties window that popped up.
Deployment dates and access
Finally we will require 3 potential dates for deployment of your backups. 1 Of these dates has to be a Friday or a day which is not followed by a working day for your business.
For access to deploy your backups, our engineers will instruct you to download our remote support client from https://support.honest-cloud.com once downloaded our engineers will ask for the connection code and password to be remotely connected to your machine.
